一、 教材分析:
本课是外研版新标准英语三年级起点第八册第七模块第二单元 She couldn’t see or hear. 本课是对could 和couldn’t 练习,这一单元主要复习用couldn’t 和couldn’t 描述某个人的能力,并通过Helen Keller 坚强不息的精神去教育世人。
二、 教学目标:
知识目标;
1. 学习并能识别词汇born, became, letter, spell, role model.
2. 要求学生能够理解并掌握句型I could… , I couldn’t…以及在表达人能力方面的运用。
能力目标:
1. 能口头运用She couldn’t see or hear.
2. 通过学习可以根据图片讲述海伦凯勒的事迹,进一步写写自己心中值得学习的人的事迹。
情感目标:
通过学习培养学生乐于模仿,敢于开口的良好习惯。让他们在学习的过程中了解一些外国的文化,增强祖国意识。

1. 在日常生活中能熟练运用一般过去时态。
2. 能用一般过去式谈论某人过去的能力。

Step1 warming up
1. Greetings
T: Good morning, boys and girls.

T: How are you?
Ss: I’m fine. And you?
T: I’m fine, too.
2. Play a game: Do as I say.

设计意图:热身打招呼,师生互动,利用游戏活跃课堂气氛,师生问答复习旧知,唤起学生对can, can’t的记忆,为新知坐铺垫。
