【教材分析】

本课是五年级英语下册Module10 Unit2的课文教学，课型为新授课。本单元学习的主要目的是在深入理解课文内容的基础上，使学生学会运用what,where, when, who, how 等特殊疑问词来谈论旅行准备;使学生通过合作学习体验荣誉感和成就感，从而树立自信心，发展自主学习的能力，形成用英语进行简单日常交际的能力。同时让学生学会一种正确对待生活的方式，明白做任何事都要有计划，避免盲目性，体现了英语学科与生活实际的紧密结合。

【学情分析】

本课的教学对象是小学五年级的小学生，他们已经学习了两年半的英语，对英语学习有一定的兴趣，积累了一定的英语知识，也具备了一定的自学能力和语言组织能力。针对这一年龄阶段的小孩子好胜心强，集体荣誉感也强的特征，在设计上应采用任务型教学从听说入手，创设情景，利用小组活动等来激发学生的学习兴趣，所设计的任务面向全班学生，由易到难，让学生在愉快轻松的氛围中从不同程度得到提升，从而达到培养学生综合运用语言能力的目的，激发学生对英语的学习兴趣，增强自信心。

【教学目标】

1.能认读单词：pet, speak, building, American, find out, more。

掌握句型：When did Daming arrive? He arrived yesterday. Grandma made Chinese food for me.

掌握音标wh [w], wh [h], wr [r]

2.能使用特殊疑问词what, who, when, where进行问答。

3.能激发学生学习英语的兴趣，帮助学生树立学好英语的信心，增强学生的参与意识，引导学生积极与他人合作，共同完成学习任务，并在成功中体会英语学习的乐趣。

2. Let the students say: It’s the Statue of Liberty. It’s in New York.

3. T: We know Daming had a trip yesterday. Now let’s review something about Daming.

通过where, what, when, who复习第一单元的知识，为接下来的学习做好铺垫。
