Step1 Warm up

The teacher plays a song to the students and asks which sentences did you hear in this song.

Listen carefully and answer the question.

Let students listen the song and catch the key information from this song.

Step2Revision

The teacher shows some pictures and lets students to make conversation by using the sentenceDo you like.....

Make the conversation with deskmate.

Review the  target language learnt in the last lesson.

Step3Learn the new words

1.To learn the new words with the pictures: breakfast, lunch, dinner,egg ,rice, chicken, carrots.

2.Do some exercises:Ask the students to turn to page 34 and look at 1a. The teacher leads the students to read the words in the box after the teacher first, then ask them to finish 1a. At last, the teacher checks the answers with the students.

Learn the new words and then finish 1a.

Teach the key words.

Step4Talk about the three meals

1.   The teacher uses the three pictures in 1a, and let studengts observe the pictures.Then fill in blanks and read together.

2.   Design your three meals by pulling the pictures and introduce your three meals to the others. Then tell students to have a healthy eating habits.

3.   Let stubents look 1b and complete 1b.

Learn to introduce three meals and finish 1b in groups.

Improve the students’speaking and cooperating ability.

Step5 Listening 1c&1d

1. Teacher reads the title of 1c , then let students read the words in 1a. Teacher tells the method of listening.Play the tape and answer the question. Finally, check the answers.

2. Listen again and complete 1d.Check the answers together. Finally, read the conversations together.

3.Read after the tape.

Improve the students’ listening ability.

Step5 Pair work 1e

Talk about what Sally and Tom like and don’t like by using the table.

Ask and answer questions in groups.

Improve the students’ interest in learning English. .

Step 6 .Survey and report

1. Look at the picture of Yao Ming and chart , then make conversation by using “Does Yao Ming like....? Yes, she does/No, she doesn’t.Then make reports.

2. Make a survey of your partner and then make a report.

3.Tell students to develop good eating habits.

Do the survey and give reports to the class.

Train the students speaking and cooperating ability.

Step7 Summary

教学反思:

在本节课上,我虽然精心准备,但是课堂效果远不如预期我所期待的那样。首先由于我课堂设计内容过多,为了让课堂环节完整的展示出来,我各个环节和内容都上的比较赶,比较快,造成课堂活动没有起到良好的课堂效果。其次,虽然教学设计很新颖,但是孩子们的课堂气氛却不是很活跃,没有真正实现生生互动和师生互动。随后,由于我课堂设计内容过多,课没有上完,本来打算用来课后总结部分精心设计的板书在整个课堂上没有体现出来他的意义。最后,要精简课件,实现以学生为主体的思想,把课堂归还给学生,让自己做一个引导者,而不是主导者。我觉得我应该精简课件,同时丰富课堂活动形式,将学生的听说读写能力都训练到,让他们多说、多练。同时还要多多关注每一名学生,培养他们的课堂兴趣,只有这样英语课堂才能取得良好的教学效果。
