教学目标

1语言:理解并正确运用本单元的重点词汇

2 技能目标:熟练运用 “should (not) be allowed to do”谈论应该被允许和不应该被允许做某事;熟练运用 “be (not) allowed to do”谈论被允许和不被允许做某事;熟练运用 “I agree /disagree.I dont agree.”表达自己的观点。

3 情感目标:通过了解和反思自己的言行举止是否符合中学生日常行为准则、规范自己的言行,养成自觉遵守规则的良好习惯和优良品德;正确看待“家规”“班规”“校规”等,并能认真遵守;明白父母、教师的合理建议对自己成长的重要性。

4文化意识目标:了解中外审美观的差异,形成自己的审美观,展示个性;了解中西方关于青少年的不同文明准则。

2学情分析

本课是一篇英语诗歌欣赏课,对于学生来说有一定的难度。但是诗歌的内容饱含真情实意,是对母亲的一首赞美诗歌。诗中描述的事件都是学生日常生活中常见的生活经历,可以结合这一点帮助学生理解诗歌,让学生明白诗歌其实就是来源于生活。

3重点难点

重点语法:被动语态
重点词汇:cry, field, hug, lift, awful, teen, regret, poem, bedroom ,
      talk about, keep away from, make ones own decision, get in the way of 
教学难点:含情态动词 should的被动语态结构“should be allowed to

4教学过程

4.1 第一学时 

4.1.1教学活动

活动1【导入】Leadin

Step One: Lead in

Show a video:  Mom song

Then ask student the following question

Do you remember what your mom always say to you?

活动2【讲授】Presentation

Step Two: Presentation
1Show pictures and sentences to help SS understand the new words and phrases.
2Listening and reading
1)Let SS listen to the poem 
2)Reading comprehension
Task 1: Match the main idea
Task 2: Fast reading
      What did mom really give him?
Task 3: Careful reading
      1Why do you think the writer talked back to his mom when he was seven?
A. He felt that he was growing up;
B. He didn’t want to be treated like a child anymore;
C. He thought his mom was wrong;
D.  All above
2How does the writer think now?
A. He regrets talking back;
B. He regrets not listening to his mom;
C. He thinks his mom is great.
D. All above.

活动3【活动】Brainstorm

Step Three: Brainstorm

Let SS find out features of English poem.

A feature of the poem(诗歌的特点之一):

Using the same sentence pattern

Another feature of the poem(诗歌的又一特点)

Using the rhyme(押韵)

Pronunciation and intonation(语音语调).

活动4【活动】Drillandcompetition

Step Four: Drill

Let SS read the poem following the tape, and give them the tips:

Read with full feelings;

Pay attention to the same sentence patterns;

Pay attention to the rhyme;

Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation

(语音语调).

Step Five: Competition

Let SS read the poem in front of the class and choose the best one.
