一.教材分析
本模块的话题便围绕At the Christmas,以We……这个句型为依托,进行了一些节日风俗和名词的教学,如Christmas, Merry Christmas。这单元从圣诞节节日出发,通过创设语言情景,用这些名词来频繁地描述我们圣诞节,以达到语言习得的目的。
二.学情分析
四年级这个阶段的学生注意力不集中,很难集中到同一件事物 上,容易被新奇的事物吸引。所以他们对课件里面的动画视频和音频感兴趣。课程中关于圣诞节的视频和圣诞歌使课堂气氛很活跃,学生接受知识也比较好。这个阶段的学生抽象思维能力比较差,所以课堂中需要大量的反复训练。
三.教学目标
1. 能正确地听说读写单词Christmas, Merry Christmas。
2.会读Merry Christmas,正确运用At the Christmas,we…的句型。
3.会表达圣诞节节日问候以及描述过节时的风俗习惯。
四.教学重难点:
重点: At the Christmas, we...
难点:Christmas和presents发音。
五.教学用具:multimedia, word cards.
六.教学过程
1、Revision
1)Ask students what do they do at the Spring Festival.
Guide students answer the question by using“At the Spring Festival, we say...,we have...”structure.
2、Leading in
1)Play the Christmas song for students.
T: What festival is it?
Ss: Christmas.
Teach the pronunciation and meaning of Christmas to students.
3、Presentation
1)Play the radio of text to students.
2) T: What do they do at Christmas?
Ask four students to speak out the answer.
3) Ask students to listen the radio and read after it and
correct students’pronunciation.
4)Explain new words to students and ask students read it.
Show pictures of the words and ask students to guess it.
Group reads words, boys read words, and girls read words.
4. Practice.
1)Ask students do the role play. Group 1 and 2 is Sam. Group 3 and 4 is Daming.
2)Students sing the Christmas together.
5. Summary
Ask two students to summarize key words and sentence structure in this class.
七.作业
1) Read the text after class.
2)Tell their family the customs of Christmas.

九.教学反思
This class is mainly based on Task-based method. Students learn in real situation. They learn key points through acting out things at Christmas. Thus, students learn well and grasp key points well in this class.
